Meet Dr. Eric Rackley
Dr. Eric S. Rackley has been serving patients throughout the Upstate since 2017. He joined our Vineyard Dental family in May 2018.
Dr. Rackley was first drawn to dentistry because it beautifully blends science, creativity, and connection. He loves that every day gives him the chance to work with his hands, apply the latest research, and help people feel more confident about their smiles.

Education
From a young age, Dr. Rackley knew exactly where he wanted to be. Growing up in snowy Pittsburgh, he told his parents in seventh grade that one day he’d trade the cold for Clemson orange. He made good on that promise when he graduated from the Clemson Honors College.
Following his time at Clemson, Dr. Rackley earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where his dedication and work ethic placed him among the top of his class. His education not only provided a strong foundation in clinical excellence but also reinforced his belief that dentistry is as much about connecting with people as it is about precision and science.
Professional Affiliations
In 2021, Dr. Rackley became one of the youngest dentists in the country to become both a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentists and a Diplomate in the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), where he continues to expand his expertise in aesthetic treatments and restorative design. One of Dr. Rackley’s greatest professional joys is helping patients experience the confidence that comes from a truly transformed smile.
